Saturday we were still a bit jet lagged so we slept in before heading to the Parc Buttes Chaumont as suggested by a friend as well as a local. M was quite pleased with himself on the subway ride there.
First we hiked to the top of the park's summit for views of Montmartre and the Sacre-Coeur.
The park had some stunning views.
Next we found a great little pastry shop where we got some delicious snacks and enjoyed a picnic in the park.

Next we decided to head over to Montmarte where we walked up many a stair for a panoramic view of the city followed by a tour of Sacre Coeur.
