Is when I crack open a fortune cookie and the paper inside gives me a proverb rather than a fortune. The one I just got for example:
"You can be a victor, without any victims."
What? That is supossed to be a fortune? As is typically the case - isn't even a good proverb! Tell me I'm going to get hit by a truck, or that I will lose a fortune, but don't give me a crappy proverb inside a fortune cookie.

This totally bugs me too! I paid for a 5 cent fortune, and I would like my 5 cent fortune.
I call those "advice cookies'
