winter snapshots

Some glimpses at our life the past few months below:

From a date night in December; sparkling lights and fountains at city creek in downtown Salt Lake:

We cut down a Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving and this is the sunset we were rewarded with at the end:

We took advantage of the high ceilings and managed to get this tree inside the house:

We needed a lot more lights than I had expected, here we were about 3/4th of the way through and needing to borrow a ladder...:

Erik's annual work party had a 1920's theme. It's always fun to have an excuse to dress up and go out for the night:
:
Guess who we saw on opening day at Sundance!? The kids were ecstatic:

J kept shouting, "Wait up Santa!" Then he rode the lift with us. Afterwards M said, "this it the luckiest day ever!"

A little play date with one of their cousins at the museum of curiosity:

Erik brought home his woodworking project that he completed last semester for a community education course. It turned out great and he loved doing it:

Our once a week nanny moved so we captured a photo on her last day:

J taking construction pretty seriously:

J and her baby:

Making good use of a Christmas gift from grandma to transport her baby:

Family ski day at Sundance:

Three out of four of us were looking.. not bad:

This shot made up for the fact that he was uncooperative in the above family photo:

Enjoying her daddy time:

This girl loves to climb:

M testing out his new rock climbing shoes:

Both of them going for it:
