The Larson Family: J turns two

J recently had her 2nd birthday and was reveling in the celebrations. She loved the attention and having everyone sing happy birthday to her. I have a few thought's about her right now in this little window of her life.

J can be stubborn just like her brother, and me, and Erik. She is adventurous, daring, curious and eager to do whatever her big brother is doing. She is caring, and feisty at times. She loves her cousins and her family. She lights up when she sees her Grandma & Grandpa or Nanni & Papa, and Ashley too. She is a good traveler and loves exploring, hiking, skiing and meeting new friends. She loves blueberries and Indian food (specifically chicken coconut korma, vegetable biryani, naan, mango lassi.) The amount of the aforementioned foods that she can consume is truly impressive. She is capable of saying her brothers name and did for some time until a little over a month ago when she decided to name him something else entirely. She now she calls him Brycey. She'll grow out of it... I think. M is over it, though initially he was annoyed and responded with his own jab "hello Mr. Nobody!" She likes to sing and occasionally breaks out her own songs or ones that we recognize. In a moment of happiness jumping on the bed recently she sang out "Happy! Happy! ABC" to her own little tune. She is full of energy and usually quite happy. She loves to suck her thumb and has her own little comforting routine where she strokes her eyelashes while simultaneously sucking her thumb. She is currently really enjoying the movie frozen. She is interested in using the potty and extremely proud of herself when she uses it. She just started saying "I wuv you mama, dada" and it's one of the sweetest things in the world to hear her say that. She's talking more and saying lots of words. We played a little game where you had to throw a snowball at the snow monster and then see how fast you could run away to this chair. It was a fun little contest.
