Winter is coming

The day after Ashley left, September 25th, we got our first snow up in the mountains. An early snow I think, but a reminder that winter will be here soon.

In early October we got a light dusting of snow on our front lawn. It quickly melted at the lower elevations but the mountains retained some for a while. 

Not too much snow out our front window right now, but there is some gorgeous fall foliage and we're enjoying that before ski season arrives.
