One of M's favorite movies right now is Finding Nemo. After watching it, going to the aquarium was even more fun especially when we found the clown fish. M likes to remind us all that "fish are friends, not food!" M also put a fun spin on the quote from the octopus, saying "you made me stink" rather than "ink." Two year olds are quite funny.
He also recently acquired a whole bunch of ocean animals from his grandma complete with a hammerhead shark, dolphins, stink rays, whales, turtles, etc. There is a lot of imaginary play going on around here. Most often M is the voice of the shark and I am asked to do the voice for Mr. seal. It's quite amusing to hear what these animals have to say. They've got a good home and like to go swimming in a tub outside or in our kitchen sink. Thus the inspiration for our play dough creations the other day:
