A few of my favorite things

I'm thoroughly enjoying summer here in Vermont and here are a few of the reasons why in no particular order:

- discovering we have lots of fireflies and catching a few for a closer look

- planting a garden, watching it grow and savoring the delicious harvest
- hiking

- family bike rides
-making new friends

- a kind person who let me come pick a bunch of raspberries because they had extra. Then making home made jam with them.

- mowing a really big lawn, the smell of fresh cut grass, the sense of accomplishment when it's complete and lots of time for uninterrupted thoughts

-quaint covered bridges
- the nicest neighbors I could ask for

- watching M devour watermelon
-hanging out with old friends

- planning camping trips

- the view out our windows

- playing in the pool and going to the lake
