Zion Nation Park- Mystery Canyon

One of the coolest parts about visiting Zion was canyoneering. We went through Mystery Canyon, which requires a special permit and allows a limited numbers of people to travel through it each day. There was about a 20% chance of rain so we were worried we might not be able to do it because of flash flooding, but thankfully it held off.

We had a scenic hike to the start of the canyon with bright blue skies and an array of fall colors.

This wall provided a nice dose of adrenalin. It was actually a bit nerve racking because you had to go out on this ledge in order to hook into the ropes before starting your descent.
Finn and I on our final rappel into the Zion Narrows. The last two rappels were the biggest (~135 ft each) so it was a pretty exciting way to end the adventure:
