Gotta love this new england stuff...

We went back to Fitchburg (where we used to live) for Valentines Day, to reminisce and get dinner at a tasty Italian restaurant called Il Forno. While we were in town we did this:

Candle pin bowling.. for those of you that are not familiar.
This is me about to bowl a strike.. i mean hopefully knock down more than 2 pins. Finn lookin' classy.

Back in the day when we lived in Fitchburg, we lived across the street from a candle pin bowling joint. We presumed it was shut down like most of the other businesses downtown and then one night when we were dying of heat and had our window open I heard it... the sound of bowling pins being knocked down. Finn wasn't convinced at first but we finally walked over there one day and lo and behold it was open.

And it was dirt cheap.

And the neon decor is to dye for.

This is harder than regular bowling in my opinion but pretty dang fun and more popular here in Massachusetts than traditional bowling. And that is all i have to say : )
