After spending a week at the beach, we took two different busses- a total of about 9 hours- to reach Cuenca, a city high in the Andes. It was so fun to see where our friends had been living for the past 6 month and to enjoy many of there favorite sights and places to eat.

Baños- a nearby town with hot springs and this amazing spa. Our friends arranged another couple to come watch the kids so we could relax and it was wonderful.
