It's nice to have a dedicated post on occasion for all the fun random photos from the past little while.
Our friend Ashley sends the cutest cards and we love getting them:
Each year my office has a little retreat for work where we do some team building and usually a fun activity. This year was at a cool art studio where we got to create some of our own art which was really fun:
J loves to go down the biggest slides at the park:
And she's getting so grown up climbing as well:
Playing is always more fun with a sibling:
The park by our house has such great views:
They love rolling down the hill and doing somersaults:
J riding her tricycle around the neighborhood:
J at the playground:
Randomly found this marvelous book at the library recently:
It took some time, but we finally got our Peru art framed and I love how it turned out:
At work having lunch with dad:
A little mini reunion with some of the Philpot family:
Mom and daughter selfie:
We went to the circus for my niece's birthday. M liked parts of it but J was so excited about the whole thing. For days she asked if we could go back:
J was actually sleeping in this awkward position one morning:
Another mom and daughter shot at her cousin Mae's baby blessing:
Playing at the pool when dad had a work conference:
Feeding some goats. They'd love pets:
Enjoying the carousel:
M thoroughly enjoying a genuine ice cream sandwich:
J and I exploring around the neighborhood one morning when M was at preschool:
We took the kids to the the alpine slide in Park City. They both loved it. J is a daredevil. After we were done she told Erik "We turned like this! (gesturing with her hand.) Like superman, I can fly!!!"
He waited all summer for this:
My dad got a new pet Emu. This probably tops some of the strange pets we had over the years growing up. The kids think it's pretty cool:
Pajamas and a chocolate dipped marshmallow from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Talk about a relaxing day:
J had her annual follow up with the orthopedic surgeon for hip displasia. The visit went well and she was happy to see the whales on the mural at the hospital:
Erik and I went on a bike ride with some friends. It was a workout but fun to get out:
Looking down at Jeremy Ranch on our bike ride:
The kids with their great grandma. We were all happy to see each other:
More of the famous hill near our house. The other day we were driving to do an errand and M asked "Mom will you pull over and let us roll down the hill?" I said "Sure!" And he said "Thanks! you're a really fun mom." A nice compliment to receive from a four year old for sure.
Then M and J wanted to pretend to be birds in a tree. And we still had a few extra minutes so I let them and they were in heaven:
