Labor day weekend getaway

We spent our labor day weekend at Stein Erikson in Deer Valley. It's one of my favorite places to vacation. I always love mountain biking with Erik and my brother and of course some time at the spa afterwards. I didn't get any pictures of us this year but I do have one of M riding around the base of the mountain. We're starting him young so we can all go together here in a couple of years : )

The pool is always a highlight and we spent a lot of time there with cousins and friends. The kids were in heaven. This year they were passing out watermelon cubes on little skewers at the pool. It felt so fancy on our already luxurious getaway.

We got dinner in Park City one night with friends and took the kids on a little "trolley ride" which they loved.

And of course we did some some hiking and exploring. Such beautiful views of the mountain from our room.

Enjoying all the flowers on our walks around the lodge.

J really loved the fountains and water features.

Two little rock climbers.

We took the kids on a hike with their cousins and explored rocks, sticks, flowers, leaves and mushrooms. It was a fun filled adventure.

The wildflowers were so beautiful.

These four were great little hikers.

M spotted a snake at the end of our hike and was pretty proud of himself for spotting it.

And I snapped this photo as we were leaving Deer Valley in a spot where the first leaves were starting to change- always a beautiful sight!
