Deer Valley

We had a fun filled labor day weekend in Deer Valley with friends and family at the Stein Erikson lodge. The kids and I headed up to check out swiss days in Midway on Friday afternoon on our way up. By the time we were checked in, one of the valets had put together a helicopter toy for M, the front desk attendant gave J a cute stuffed animal polar bear and everything was delivered to our room. It really was 5 star, 5 diamond service especially for a mom checking in with two toddlers and a bunch of luggage and food for the weekend. 

We headed into park city our first night for dinner with friends where Erik met up with us. We loved sharing a suite with connecting rooms with the Martineau family, going to the pool with all the kids, and staying up late playing board games. We spent a day mountain biking with my brother Jared and got some good biking pictures including some crashes. Following up at the spa and hot tub afterward was the perfect fix for our bruises. Monday after we checked out, we stopped by the Olympic Park and M and I enjoyed a ride down the alpine slide. It was a wonderful weekend.
