Homer Spit Beach Adventure

Going to the beach was one of the highlights of the trip for our kids. I wanted to buy a shovel and pail but the grocery store didn't have them. After stopping by the local hardware store, I settled on this plastic sand mold and a black kitchen spoon that they truly enjoyed.

They were so glad to be out of the car and free to run around! I was pretty grateful for this too and the fact that I didn't have to worry about bears popping out of the bushes by my kids : )
