This year for Christmas I decided I was going to knit a gift for my mom and mother in law. I was inspired by all these fantastic little monsters my friend Holli had knit. Holli is an amazing knitter and gave me some great knitting lessons when we lived in Boston.
I found an adorable penguin pattern on ravelry.com and learned a few new things a long the way. I only had one month to complete these and was worried about being able to finish them since I had just started working full time. I finished the 2nd one on Christmas Day itself! I'm glad I attempted them because they were not as hard as I had envisioned and it was fun making them.
